                  Building to fit into the global quest for a sustainable Real Estate environment.

           Speaking at the just concluded 3INVEST Real Estate Unite Exhibition and Conference in Lagos, where the Company spoke about the Role of Security in developing Green Building and a Sustainable Real Estate Environment to experts, professionals, dealers and individuals in the Real Estate from Nigeria and different parts of Africa, the Company’s Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Wale Olaoye, says; “Halogen Security is excited again to be a part of array of leading solution providers who were identified from across different sectors of the industry, to drive new thinking and solutions for Africa’s rising Real Estate industry. Here what we as Security specialists would advocate is that we should evolve an Intelligent Building System, where Security is included from conceptualization so that structural variations would not be required when security installations is eventually considered necessary.”

            He advised that, “to achieve functional, environmental friendly and more secured buildings, our government should invoke a national real estate policy, which will make it mandatory for Real Estate practitioners to include strategic positioning of intelligent Building Management system. This is simply to automate security & safety infrastructures within a building like Intrusion Alarm system, Smoke Detectors, Access control Systems, CCTV systems with Intelligent DVR, Control Room Systems, Automated Plate Number Recognition Systems, IP camera and Emergency Response mechanism such that all could be remotely activated and monitored. With this, we will be able to protect, prevent, respond and recover assets in the event of eventual breach in security. “
